Wherever stars go, rice will follow

Lately, fans have been amassing for something positive, showing a heartwarming form of fanclub and artist promotion.
Everywhere stars go these days, it seems as if packages of rice are stacked in lieu of the traditional celebratory standing flowers display. The fans of MBC “Playful Kiss” Kim Hyun Joong donated 1.3 tons of rice at the drama production presentation while Lee Seung Gi’s fanclub donated 200kg of rice at the presentation for SBS’s “My Girlfriend the Nine Tailed Fox.” On the 9th, U-Know Yunho fans donated 3.1 tons of rice for the first performance of his musical, “Goong.”

Singer Park Jaebeom’s fanclub donated 2,430kg of rice at his first fan meeting in Seoul for the disabled athletics association that he is the ambassador for. The fanclub also deposited new blood donor registration cards and rice cakes for the organization as well.
Many have been looking on these acts of love with approval, since donating rice is much more useful, in comparison to the expensive standing flowers. Additionally, these acts helps to greatly promote the star’s image whilst helping those in need at the same time. The new phenomenon is certainly a welcome one, as fanclubs continue to adorn presentation halls with celebratory rice donations in honor and support of their star’s achievements.
